About Casa Blanca Translations

My name is Rocio Nesbitt. I work as an interpreter and professional translator of English/Spanish-Spanish/English languages for the Federal Judicial System, Wyoming Judicial System, Wyoming District Courts, Wyoming Circuit Courts, and other entities of government, such as the University of Wyoming.

Casa Blanca Translations was formed in 2000 while working for the BF Pipeline Company, who was in need of business translation services to communicate an international partnership with oil companies in Spain.

Since then, I have expanded to include English-to-Spanish document translation for school districts, colleges and universities, religious organizations, as well as interpret in circuit and district courts and various law firms across Southeastern Wyoming.

I earned my M.A. in Spanish from the University of Wyoming and a Licenciate in Public Accounting from the Autonomous University of Chihuahua, in my native Mexico. I also received the Outstanding Adult Lifelong Learner Award from the Wyoming Lifelong Learning Association.

My professional development includes being a member of the Colorado Translators Association, a chapter of the American Translators Association, and a registered interpreter on the Wyoming Supreme Court Interpreter Roster. I am also a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and the Wyoming State Network for Language Access (WYSNLA).
